My mom is 87 and suffers from Parkinson's, although she does not suffer from the typical Parkinson's shakiness. She is looking for a good night's sleep and relief from general pain. My concern is that she is fall risk, so I do not want her to get 'too high' and risk a fall with injury. Anyone have experience with helping an elderly person safely try medical cannabis for the first time?

Hi Stephan, a physician in Florida can issue a recommendation for a maximum of 210 days, approximately 7 months. This should not be confused with your medical marijuana card issued by the State, which is valid for 12 months. I hope this answers your question.
